"Bigheart Soap Company is owned and operated by Elizabeth Smith, wife, mother, and master craftsman born and raised in Oklahoma. We strive to deliver customers the most natural and long-lasting products. Our cold process soaps are handcrafted in small batches and are made with 100% pure, skin-loving ingredients. We use only the highest quality oils, locally sourced ingredients and naturally grown herbs from our farm in Osage County, OK.
Our main soap recipe is made up of a combination of olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, shea butter and castor oil. Other recipes may include rice bran oil, apricot kernel oil, hemp oil or other fat bases. Assorted milks may be used as the liquid base and natural mica colorants may be added along with fragrance and essential oil blends. Sodium lactate, a natural salt derivative, is added to most batches to help produce a harder, longer-lasting bar of soap.
Our soaps are cured for a minimum of 6 weeks before being available for purchase or use. This helps to ensure that all of the excess liquid has evaporated from each bar and will help them to last much longer. Each bar is decoratively wrapped and packaged before shipping or delivery.
