The first swimming pool I designed was in 2003 and it did not take me long to realize that I made a great career move. It is amazing to watch kids jump into their own pool for the first time when only two months earlier the pool was nothing more than lines on paper. It is truly my privilege to be given the opportunity to build pools for friends and neighbors in North Texas. I was fortunate to have learned to build pools and spas while working with highly regarded pool companies and though I will admit that designing each unique project may still be my favorite part of the business, I started Custom Outdoor Trends because I felt that I could help set the bar higher in this industry by being in control of construction as well.
