Moving Help from Experienced and knowledgeable moving Helpers Over 7 years of moving Experience. We provide Moving services. Which include the loading and unloading of moving trucks such as U-Haul, Penske and Budget Rental trucks. We also do large 53 foot Semi Trailers We also provide this service for large containers such as POD's, Door to Door, ABF Upack Trailers and ReloCube, Uhaul UBoxes. We have furniture dollies (with 4 wheels) and 2 Wheel hand Trucks to help with the loading. If it is a local move where we both load and unload we Supply Rope and Ratchet straps to secure the load. We also have large rubber bands to hold the moving blankets to the furniture. If your are moving out or the area your will need to supply 1/8 inch to one quarter inch Diameter rope to secure the load. The Following Labor only hourly rates do not include a truck. I charge $30 per hour for one person. I charge $50 per hour for a two man crew. I charge $75 per hour for a three person crew. I charge $100 per hour for a Four person crew. We offer same day service (subject to availability) for one or 2 man crews. For 3 or 4 man service we usually need 1 or 2 days notice. We charge a one time travel fee that depends on how far you are from Mountain View, CA. This would be from $10 to $30 dollars. Most jobs have a two hour minimum. If your job is in Mountain View or Sunnyvale and you require only 1 person and are flexible with the time of the move, you may be eligible for 1 hour minimum. If you require a fixed price you will need to provide a detailed list of items to be moved as well as the the conditions of your move. Which includes the distance you are from the ground floor (ie 0, 1, 2, 3 floors How far we will have to move the items to the truck. Is there an elevator? Whether or not we will be disassembling and or assembling items. All moves should include a list of items that have weight over 200 pounds. This includes such things as pianos, most full size refrigerators and Freezers, We move upright pianos if they do not need to be moved up or down more than 2 steps in close proximity. Let us know if we will be moving a piano when requesting service. If you need to move a grand piano contact a piano mover. We can also provide packaging of your items in preparation for moving. This includes packaging items in boxes or other containers to protect them. The charges for this service is $25 per hour for the 1st person and $22 dollars For each additional person, 2 hour minimum. There will be additional charges for materials. Such as boxes, packing tape bubble wrap. Moving blankets. You have the option of supplying the material or have us provide them. The moving services are available on the peninsula to San Mateo County as far north as the San Francisco Airport, most of Santa Clara County as far south as Morgan Hill and Los Gatos, within 5 miles of the center of town. In alameda County, as far north as San Leandro and East to Pleasanton. We do have a 14 foot box truck available for small moves with a rate of $80 per hour for a crew of 2. All blankets, dollies are supplied. This truck capacity is about the correct size for a normal 1 bedroom Apt. of about 700 Square feet, in one trip.
